Armand and his fantasitic African band to DC! This is the original Twins location,(which is a wonderful, intimate space for a show. The music is a fantastic blend of African styles - soukous, assiko, bitkutsi, ndombolo and more!!! Surprises are to be expected -- we have had recent visits by top notch Camerooninan vocalists Frankie Chaleur and Nkodo Sitony!!!

The second of the Evloutions Concert Series, "Recombination," features Washington Musica Viva performing works by Paul Bowles, Libby Larson, and Bohuslav Martinu. WMV will be followed by "Five Tones, " a set of pieces by John Kamman highlighting the amazing vocal talents of Armand Ntep and Grace Chung. "Recombinations" takes the next step on the road towards bringing jazz and American chamber music together.
